Pink Bridesmaid Dresses

Sometimes a bride chooses a pink wedding dress and sometimes she chooses pink bridesmaids dresses. On very rare occasions a bride may choose both; a soft pink dress for herself and a bright or dark pink dress for her wedding party. That’s the great thing about pink; it goes well with a lot of colors, and even better within its own spectrum.

One of my favorite combinations is the black and pink, which has a more modern feel. I love the idea of bridesmaids and bride in mixtures of pink. The bridesmaids can add small black accessories; like a headband or black belt. The look of black and pink has a more modern feel; if that’s the style of wedding you’re looking to have.

Another modern theme with pink uses brown. In fact, brown and pink look so good together, they make a lasting impression. And, the biggest bonus, brown means chocolate! Chocolate cake, chocolate favors, chocolate everything. Yum!

If you’re looking for a more country theme, a soft pale pink is really the perfect style of dress for bridesmaids. Add a little romantic lace or gingham and the pink is perfect. What you don’t want to do is look like a bad movie about milkmaids and farmers. The idea of a country theme is to have a homey or western feel. One of the more popular themes today is the Hollywood theme. Of course that dress was fuchsia, but it is a gorgeous style and perfect for a glamorous Hollywood style. I love the look of different colors but all the same style of dress. Even different patterns can look really great, especially for the maid of honor.
