The trick to picking out the perfect flowers is to meet with a florist. Even when you know the flowers that are available it’s still important to know when they are available. Most flowers are seasonal and, barring carnations and roses, need to be specially ordered. If you’re ok with roses and carnations (which are some of the most beautiful flowers available), choosing them will be the most inexpensive flowers available year round. One reason to go with an inexpensive flower is to be able to fill the event center with as many flowers as you want.

Choosing an exotic flower isn’t out of the question, but if you’re on a strict budget you’ll limit the amount of floral arrangements.

Whichever type of pink wedding flowers you want, you can find a representation below.

Cyclamen – Cyclamen has a cool taste and is often used in teas. A great idea for the reception tables is to have a plant at each table to add a petal to some tea. You can also incorporate the petals into the wedding cake and desserts.

Calla – The Calla Lily has a thick green stem with a beautiful curled, elegant bloom. It’s a classy flower with hints of color or a full bloom of color. However, it doesn’t have much of a scent.

Nerines – The Nerine flower is a fall choice with a lot of grace and style.

Carnations – The Carnation is an inexpensive and pretty pink. The colors range from bright pink to soft pale pink. They’re great for a Valentines theme or a country style. They also have a style where the main blossom is white tipped in pink.

Tulips – Tulips have a gorgeous deep color, but no scent. They also bloom year round and are shipped into almost every flower shop. If you’re lucky enough to live in Europe, you can get Tulips relatively cheaply.
Amaryllis – The Amaryllis is a form of lily (also is known as the belladonna). It blooms in late summer and has a trumpet bloom.

Alstroemeria – This trumpet style flower is sometimes called a mini lily.

While this isn’t every flower that is available, at least you have a pretty good representation of pink wedding flowers.
